If you are an undergraduate student at UGA and want to get your ‘feet wet’ with experience in ecology and freshwater science, please contact Dr. Rosemond. We might have ongoing projects and analyses that we are seeking assistance with, or we can help connect you to another lab at UGA. We don’t require any prior experience to embark on work in our lab, but a willingness to learn goes a long way!

Aquatic job boards

To explore careers and opportunities in freshwater science, you can follow the current postings on a couple job boards of aquatic science societies, specifically the Society for Freshwater Science job board and the Association for the Sciences of Limnology and Oceanography job board. Even if you are not in a position to take on these jobs, they illustrate the types of jobs that are available in the field and might inspire your journey!
